A striking mid-century platinum, emerald and diamond ring, executed with strong Art Deco-inspired architectural elements. The ring is centered by a substantial oval cabochon-cut natural emerald, distinguished by its unusually high, rounded dome and deeply saturated bluish-green color.
The emerald is framed by approximately 1.56 carats of diamonds, with additional diamond-set geometric details extending onto the shoulders. The platinum mounting combines a finely articulated diamond surround with sculptural side elements, creating an elegant frame around the considerable volume and color of the center stone.
The ring is accompanied by GIA Emerald Identification & Origin Report No. 2225528918, identifying the emerald as natural beryl (emerald), of Brazilian origin, with F2 (moderate) clarity enhancement.
