A distinctive early Victorian garnet brooch, likely dating to circa 1850, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and set with eight richly colored faceted garnets. Four oval-cut garnets form a gently curved lower row, while four pear-shaped garnets rise above in an alternating arrangement, creating an elegant crown-like silhouette.
Each garnet is secured within an individually formed closed-back setting accented by delicate bead and trefoil ornamentation. The deep wine-red stones reveal warm crimson flashes under direct light, while the reverse displays hand-finished goldwork and a traditional elongated pin fitting characteristic of early-to-mid-19th-century jewelry construction.

Condition:
Pre-owned antique condition with surface wear and patina consistent with considerable age and prior use. The reverse displays scratches, oxidation, discoloration, and areas of darkened patina, particularly around the outermost settings and pin fitting, as shown in the photographs.
